Download this doom editor called "Slade". Then drag an addon out of your addons folder into the window. You can see what code the modders put in and stuff. But then you need to learn the LUA language.
I'm new to srb2 modding but not to lua. Just look through the files and change some numbers around to get different results, at least it works for me.
