I like adventure, Sonic adventure!
Hello, I'm wanting to make a Dr Robotnik's ring racers character pack, so I decided to come up with some characters, some being rendered in blender and edited in a program named Piskel, Piskel is pretty cool, and free so if your looking to make sprite art, I suggest you start with Piskel.
I got some progress with my first 3 characters, and will plan on starting to make the 4th sometime, here's the list so far for character's I'm thinking:

just setting him up with the template I made, Shading is kind of a mess since for some reason he renders with almost complete darkness, might also switch the model to be more faithful to the original, since it's a joke rom hack it will be a joke racer.
Luigi doll: I was just minding my own business on the kart krew discord, when somebody put a picture of their racer they were making, either the creator or somebody else commented it looks like the famous Luigi doll, then I realized, has anybody tried to make Luigi doll in SRB2K or Dr. Robotnik's ring racers? and then made the template for models and stuff in blender. and here he is, I even did a bit more progress on him since I started doing him a while ago.

it's obviously not complete but since it's another joke racer I'm not putting a lot of effort into it.
Now, you may be asking "Why the hell is this dude making 2 joke racers in a row and why are they both Luigi?!" welp, to that I say, I have no frickin clue, but I like the Idea, Now if this has too many joke racers will it get rejected? maybe, I don't know, but the next one will be higher quality.
Jim Markson: Now you may be asking, "Who the hell is this Jim Markson dude?" he is my original character, made like last year, I think. well I got some progress, and once I am done with shading the first row and complete the icons, it will be smooth sailing from there, why? well because drifting is basically the characters head turned slightly, and the third row (which I have no idea what it is) is practically the same as the second, just adjusted more, and a smile. which due to the magic called "layers" it will be easy to adjust the head and other body parts.

I have the character template on the first frame, and on the second I have the same template but with Sonic put over it, aka I used SLADE to rip the sprites. And the third is to explain which one is which, which on the right is the layers which have almost every body part.
The one that I will probably start sometime will be Socket, from the genesis Sonic Clone, It might have been a Clone, but it is at least good Sonic clone, here is the Wikipedia article if you want it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Socket_(video_game)

I Will probably put assets such as the .Blend files and the bare bones wip sprites in a folder and the original renders in a zip with folders for preservation.
Also for some reason a lot of my wip threads are dead, is there a reason why?
