March of the Machines - For those who want bots that are harder than they already are...

Looking for a true challenge? Are you masochist enough? March of the Machines is a simple lua script that modifies bots behaviors, making them more difficult to play against.

This script is the successor of an old SRB2 Kart patch I made for Sonic1984’s Player Bots mod that I’ve never released. The goal here is to make all the interesting features of the original script compatible with DRRR while adding new behaviors for bots in order to let them follow the player’s pace better.

Hey, this mod is great! It's exactly what I was looking for, in a way... However, I was wondering if there's a way to only add this feature to just a selection of bots... In fact, if I want a certain character to be naturally better, let's say I made this one character I want to truly compete with always, for example, is there a way to do some code in the character itself or some option I can maybe alter with your permission? I'm not very code savvy... This is for personal use btw. I dunno if this is the right place to ask for this... It's worth a shot, I think. Thank you for your attention.

v2.0 Update

QoL update, the mod has been revised with customisation in mind.

> Changed how the mod works overall :
- Only the first three bots are Enhanced and affected by the mod changes each race. This can be changed via console command.
- Enhanced Bots are marked during the race.
- Better handling, start boost and base rubberbanding for Enhanced Bots.
- There is now a list system where the player can force one or multiple specific characters to appear as an Enhanced Bot.

cool mod, good for adding some extra difficulty to bots that fill the lobbies in my races with friends. I'm having a hard time getting the addlist function to work. I'm assuming the name im supposed to enter is the one that displays on the character select screen, like sonic, but they dont show up for me in the race
