I want to learn Lua. where is a good place to start?

SOOOO. I want to learn Lua but I simply don't know where to start learning. I know this may annoy some people but really. if there is anything I done with lua is get open assets and edit them by binding the keys or lowering or raising number or find out how some luas work.

I never made my own script nor can I find a source to learn form.
so if you could just lead me in one way I'd appreciate it.

and thats it. I just need a place to start. provide me with every source you could think of so I learn.
any source. wiki pages. luas to look at how they work. people to help. anything. and thanks in advance.

You need to learn Lua first: http://lua-users.org/wiki/LuaTutorial
This is very much needed for scripting.
Be careful, as the Lua in the guide is the original, while SRB2's Lua is BLua, and is documented here: https://wiki.srb2.org/wiki/Lua/Syntax

The only other way I can think of is looking at the code within other mods and taking notes. (Preferably ones that are open assets.)
