Is it me, or does that look vaguely like a sarcastic error?
In any case, it seems to have something to do with resolutions since that's what SRB2 refers to "Video Modes", are you trying to do this in windowed mode?
did you change the texture filtering options? i changed bilinear to trilinear and i got that error every time i tryed to start srb2 in opengl, i just reinstalled it, it was fine after that.

That's not the problem. The program doesn't even remember what texture filter setting you use.
The real issue is that SRB2 is trying to go fullscreen in a mode that is incompatible with the video card or the monitor. Like Shuffle and I said, either change the resolution you're switching to or play in windowed mode.
