Freezes some seconds after opening

Hi, when i try playing srb2 it freezes on the sonic team jr image or the title screen and never lets me play. I tried restarting my computer, reinstalling the game, disconecting everything, checking task manager, use administrator mode, use compability mode, check for problems etc.... but it keeps happening over and over again. Does someone have a solution?
