View attachment 174522So when trying to play Ring Racers online, we have a common problem on Windows 7 machines: The thing is connected to the internet, but the master server can't be reached from inside Ring Racers. In this guide, we will fix this step-by-step. It will be kind of tedious, but should work reliably in the end. Doing this on a 32-Bit Windows 7 with Ring Racers v2.3.

Hey! This is a really helpful guide, but unfortunately we cannot accept it in the state that it's in; the rules and terms state that all posts should be in English. This includes screenshots, so you'd have to retake the screenshots with English as the system's language instead...

I do really encourage you to re-submit this with the fixed screenshots, though. This seems like it could really help some people out; I remember seeing some faces using Windows 7 in KKD.
 
Ah, thank you for the info @FrivolousAqua. You are right, the parts with the translated text strings were quite messy.
As changing languages wasn't possible in that version of Windows 7, I just set up a virtual machine and so now we have the proper screenshots with English text.
Can I update the previous submit of my guide? Or is the text gone? Fortuneatly, there is an unpolished backup on my computer. However it seems my privilleges of posting guides got lost somehow. Can I have them back?

The text isn't gone! I can undelete it; I'll just need to move it back to approval so you can go ahead and fix up the guide.
