FireFlower functionality conflicts with RingSlinger, carries over skin changes too.

I understand this may be trivial, but this bug make implementing Mario elements in any RingSlinger map difficult.
Whenever you collect a fire flower, the fire ball overwrites the functionality of shooting rings. Not only that, but this issue will carry over to any character if you switch to them.

Now this may not be a big issue in Vanilla, but when it comes to addons and modularity of the game it starts to affect match modes in a very annoying way.
Here's an example with the popular Mario Bros addon, while Mario and Luigi offer fun acrobatics and movement options this small quirk of fire flowers cause their ability to attack players to be very limited. And of course, this issue carries over to any other character switched to.
