This addon replaces the default audio lumps for engine sounds with ones modified to mitigate a "clicking" or "popping" sound due to the sound being cut off early.

You are correct in that we do not normally allow addons like this, since it contains no original content whatsoever. However, I'm willing to allow this through on the grounds that it's a bug fix and therefore might have some use to people. Welcome to releases.
