PerfectSystemDX submitted a new resource:

Dr Roslopnik's Ping Buffers - Dynamic buffer. Thoksurf the net!

To be honest, I tossed this together out of curiosity, and it worked surprisingly well, so I'm publishing it to make your netgame life a bit easier.
Using considerably modified code from the Auto-Jump script by Gouldron, I added an input buffer to landing, and made it so that the player's ping (Translated from milliseconds to tics) is added onto it.
Hopefully, you won't be losing any momentum to ping spikes anymore.

Hey there! It seems like your addon's missing the "D" for RR in its prefix, so you'll have to resubmit with the name fixed.

There's also the concern that, after some testing, we couldn't really nail down what exactly this addon does in the first place - we're gonna need for you to upload some visual examples like gifs or even videos showcasing your addon in action, perhaps write a more in depth description of what this is meant to be used for or what it does.

it's not for ring racers, i just found the name funny after saying "ping buffer" out loud and thinking it sounded like "ring racers". this is for srb2!!

i figured posting it in the srb2 category would be clear enough ^^;

Aight, I went ahead and restored your thread! Apologies for the confusion, though next time do consider the fact that the name could be rather misleading. I'll be looking at this addon again.

oh hey, surprised to see my old auto-jump script come to good use! i don't really play much on 2.2 anymore, but it would've definitely been useful back when i did.

i did have to modify it to use MFE_JUSTHITFLOOR because checking if the player is grounded isn't actually the most consistent thing, just for what it's worth
