Short answer; No
Long answer; Not unless Sonic Team Jr. was able to obtain a license from Sega to raise money for the development of a fangame based on their IP (which is unlikely even if a commission was offered). This site also does not have embedded ads for the same reason.

I can guarantee you we have not asked others to put up ads for our game, let alone paid for ad spots. Surely that website just really likes SRB2 and wants to spread the word.
The best way to support the team directly is to commission the artists or support team members' commercial endeavors (Snap the Sentinel et al).
