And for those who aren't a fan of it, what changes do you want?
Do you guys think that the physics are fine as it is or it needs some tweaks?

I think the physics are almost perfect. If I had to change something, it would be to make acceleration a bit slower, and make the jumps slightly less floaty. Maybe increase jump height, maybe make the thok slightly less fast, and maybe make rolling acceleration quicker. SRB2 controls so good as it is, but these changes can potentially make it feel better.
