They want to patent a bunch of systems that other people have made since palworld uses the companion system, so now nobody but Nintendo can use it, so i'm gonna get them to try and sue us for using the system and use it to sue them instead for getting rid of people's creative rights.

Right, well, there are a few issues with that.

1. They are a multibillion dollar company, even if you had a legal case (you probably don't), they could use any one of their brutal tactics to starve you out and force you to drop the lawsuit.
2. Please do not use this space to organize an effort to deliberately antagonize Nintendo into legal action. I do not think we want the SRB2 Message Board to be the target of Nintendo's wrath. There are copyrighted Nintendo assets in SRB2, do you really want them to notice us??
