autoexec.cfg Help

It worked for a while but now it wont upload any script or it anymore. I even redownloaded the game. Can someone help me?

I deleted it. I cant rename it though.

Try copying config.cfg, renaming it to autoexec.cfg, and editing the contents. The things you type in are console commands, like BIND X "COLOR BLUE".

I guess you can do it that way, but make sure to delete all the stuff that is in autoexec.cfg when you do that. I am unsure if addfile works in autoexec, you could use batch files, or the launcher to add wads.

Sometimes, when certain wads are loaded, it won't execute autoexec.cfg right away, or at all. If you run into one of those, just type EXEC AUTOEXEC.CFG in the console, and your autoexec will be loaded.

Thats how I did the first time. And i did that. Plus I use exec in the console not addfile and it doesn't work. And There was no WADs active at the time.

ADDFILE doeswork in autoexec.cfg. I use it to add a music wad.

Never Mind i found out the problem. It was an error with windows hiding file extentions
