Default "Rare" Reunion (B-K's Spiritual Successor)

I know I mentioned something like this before, but hear me out. I checked this time.

It's been flowing over lately that someone on Twitter named Mingy Jongo is an Ex-Rare dev and plans on making a spiritual successor for Banjo-Tooie. Possibly made with the Unity engine.

I thought it was a tad suspicious at first but it's also been noted that two other Ex-Rare devs are also partaken in said project.
Stephen Hurst(Art and Graphics) and Grant Kirkhope (Music).

It's all over their Twitters.

It's being pretty widespread too.

I dunno if that's enough evidence but it seems promising.
Thoughts?

This is quite interesting.
However, it is still only an idea. Those three are not enough to make a game.
But still, I look forward to seeing what this will lead to.

If they could get a Kickstarter going for this, I'd probably end up contributing to it. Dunno if Microsoft would let them get away with it, though.

Like I said Bobinator, these are EX-Devs. Most of the original team in Rareware that made the N64 games left shortly after Microsoft's purchase so chances are they're at liberty to develop whatever, where ever.

Plus, with it being a "Spiritual Successor", it may not exactly be a B-T sequel either.

A spiritual successor, huh?
It might end up being Banjo-Threeie with the serial numbers filed off.

Actually, to my understanding, most of them left before that purchase, while Nintendo still owned them. Although it's certainly true that more left in the years after that event...
