When I try to just put everything from each wad into one single wad, some custom character entries appear twice. Why?

Make sure you aren't accidentally defining the character description twice.

Thanks, for some reason it had copied more than I wanted.
Also, is it better if I make zip holding a collection of wads, or a wad containing all the other wads?

Either seems fine. However, a zip containing each separate wad is very good if there is a specific thing the player want's to use.
