A question for school.

When are Flowcharts used?
Is it during the beginning, middle or the end of a project?

I read somewhere on a site that states that a flowchart is used during a project but, I'm not sure...

Please help me if you know when it is used...

Rgx, I think flowcharts are usually used at the beginning of a project.

Flow charts are used to show the flow of whatever in whatever you're doing.

EG. You can represent a recipe in a flow chart. Box 1: Sift Flour. Box 2: Add Milk

You always make these during the design stages of your project.
If you're doing computing or ICT, then a Data Flow Diagram would be more useful (but they're also much more tediuos and difficult to draw.)
