-Capabilities Nessacery-
-Making Transparent Colors over an Image
-Pixel-view-ish Grid
- Paint Prush and Paint Fill tool.

Use MS Paint :? you can make transperant-ish colours with it, and a grid by pressing Ctrl G

No. That doesn't work, I need a TOOL that lets you choose a Color's Transperency.

Use "The Gimp."
It has plenty of features, and is just as good as PhotoShop.
You need the GTK+ Runtime Environment to run it.

The Gimp is definately a good program. I prefer its layout to those expensive programs anyway.

My friend made mine in paintshop pro because she was bored.

I normally draw stuff in flash (which isn't a drawing program 0_O) and use GIMP or Paint to save them...
