How do you properly upload gifs/images?

I don't mean to be a bother, but I've been having trouble uploading gifs to a submission I'm making. I've tried uploading straight from my computer, and I've tried uploading to sites like imgur and using a link from there, but gifs and pngs alike are being rejected as invalid image files. Meanwhile, my wad's zip file uploads fine.

Try again, if it fails, put the images in a ZIP or in a Google Drive link. Make sure you set it to everyone can see!

Will zipped images still show on the post? They're only added to show off the character without needing to download it first and it doesn't seem like a zip would show them.

They wouldn’t, but it’s best to just have it on Drive.
