How do i add a header to my level?

Ok 1s off, dont link me to wiki, ive tried there and i cant understand any of it

So, can you give me a step-by-step guide on how to do it please?

Evidently you DIDN'T check the Wiki. It explains, fairly easily, how to add a header.

Download XWE

Open the level WAD with XWE or make a new blank WAD file with XWE

Look for a Load Lump option to upload your level header txt, or

Look for the New Lump to paste in the Level Header.


Now reoppen SRB2Wiki and you'll see how it's the same thing.

If you use Dom Builder, go to:
Scripts > MAPxxD (xx is the number of the map.)
Check the Wiki for what you have to put in it.

OK, here's what I do.

1. Open XWE.
2. Creat a new lump and name it MAINCFG
3. Read this to see what you can put in it your MAINCFG.
