Hey, all! I finally got Knoppix going- without any help !! Yay!

One question, though: I'm using a cable modem (SURFboard (r) S83100 Cable) to connect to the 'net on Windows via USB, but I have absolutely no clue how to connect with Knoppix. Can someone help?

NICK!!! WHERE ARE YOU?
Fine. This is for Bigboi, 'cause he didn't seem to notice the small american flag right in the middle of the page.

You should censor the US flag more. It's a symbol of idiocy, and should be banned ^_~
Oh, well, if American say it by themselves... XD

I don't know how to setup cable on Knoppix, but I setupped on it my ADSL (SpeedTouch) modem some time ago and it worked.
Basically I needed to install the normal user-space tools , do a bit of setup, and I was on the net.

The problem is, my friend told me that I need CDCEther , but it isn't installid with Knoppix, and because it runs completely from the CD, it's almost impossible to use it.

I think you can install CDCEther on Knoppix 3.8+, because it now use UNIONFS, that means that all files you create are in ram, that on CD not.
