Ever composed music?

But still, its so much easier to access if you upload it onto a music sharing website.

Heck, some of them allow all your music to be playable at the click of the button. Doesn't that sound better then going through all of them and opening them 1 by 1?

EDIT: Updated the MIDI to sound a bit better. =P

One of my very old compositions, remixed to sound like a Title Screen theme.

Also, this is my first finished MIDI that uses GS MIDI instruments, instead of just GM ones! =D

Comments would be greatly appreciated, by the way.

EDIT: http://www.sendspace.com/file/yvezr1 Here's a Sendspace link, for those who can't get it through the Mediafire one.

Wow, I had completely forgotten about this topic, then I suddenly remembered it today!
Here's my latest composition, currently named 僕の日. It's supposed to sound like an opening to an anime, it's only about a minute long, but I hope it's still enough time to enjoy the piece :P

SRB2BeFree :D

Some weeks ago I made a complete single-&multiplayer music replacement pack for SRB2. It is licensed CC-by-nc-sa and I only used my keyboard, Rosegarden and Audacity to make the music.
The music is relatively simple because I did not use any percussion instruments and did no rework after playing the songs.

I asked SpiritCrusher if I am allowed to post it as submission, but he currently is on vacation and can't respond to my PM.

You can download the .ogg-musics in a .zip file here:
http://musik.freiwuppertal.de/srb2befree.zip

And if you really want to play SRB2 with this musics, you can use the .wad in this .zip file:
http://musik.freiwuppertal.de/srb2befree-wad.zip

(27 ogg files; 27 midi files; 70 megabytes!)

If you want to reuse the music (maybe you can improve it!), please give credit to Tobias "ToBeFree" Frei. :)

Ultimate, that track was unreal. I was getting serious Pirates of the Caribbean or some kind of adventurous vibes. I take it you've been doing this for quite a long time.

Thanks Eblo! I've been playing piano for pretty much all my life, but as for composing I've only done it for about 5 years now, starting on piano. For creating stuff on the computer, I only began that maybe two years ago. But I'm really slow at composing...I'll start something full steam, but then I get halfway and start getting stuck. I'm at that point right now. Have another orchestral battle song in the works, but it hasn't changed at all in the past year. Been trying to make some progress the last few days >_>"

I have so many compositions that are like that. Either I abandon them due to lack of inspiration or I finish them like a year later.

Join the club, I took forever with my compositions back in the day too. Even remade them completely years later if I felt like it.

...and now that I haven't the stuff to make MIDIs anymore, I'm basically tearing my hair out over the fact I have no means to improve them by anymore. 'Tis life.

Just listened to The Four Warriors myself, it is undoubtably awesome.

There's just one thing though: the sudden break at 7:54 - 55 and the return to an earlier motif just after ...I'm not really convinced it works that well to be honest.

The results of me screwing around with OpenMPT over the past few weeks.

"cosmic computer - for MAIMFRANE"
This is one that I actually finished. It has these bleeps and bloops and space and stuff.

"spaceshifters - for ARMADION" (wip)
This one is not finished. Upbeat battle-ish music.

"glow lava glow - for MAGMARATH" (wip)
Another unfinished one. It is like a volcano or something, like the kind of music a volcano would listen to.

"giant mushrooms - for GIGASHROOM" (wip)
Mystical fungus forest tainted by polluto-factories; gets kind of spooky at certain moments because it is spooky at certain moments!

"ghost in the toast - for HAUNTRON" (wip)
Don't get spooked! A ghost might fly into your kitchen tonight if you listen to this one.

Enjoy or not.
