how do you load wad files !!

i know this is probably pretty simple to you guys but i have no experience in computer programming. yes i read all the FAQs and followed the directions for loading wad files> using the consule mode by typing ~ in game mode then putting in ADDFILE <mysticrealm.wad> aswell as a few other variations but nothing works. the wad file is in the same folder as SRB2. any help would be nice.

You fail at following directions. Just get the launcher in the addons section of SRB2.org. Click WAD Files, select Mystic Realm, and click run.

Make sure you type it EXACTLY. ADDFILE mysticrealm.wad will NOT work, whereas ADDFILE scr_mysticrealm.wad will. I kept mixing it up in the beginning and typing ADDFILE scn_mysticrealm.wad.

Don't rename files, either. That makes it so that other peoples' games don't recognize them. It doesn't matter if you added an X, the game will only look for that filename.

Also, don't add the <> just scr_mysticrealm, and the launcher works well to
