Why did they remove Grey
I'm ignored. Ignore me plz. :<

Well, when I first started mapping for SRB2, the first thing I did was read a441's tutorial. When I got to a specific point in it, it told me never to go above 4096 fracunits and below 0 fracunits in game. And so, since then I've been following those rules.

However, lately I've been seeing a lot of maps that easily go beyond these limits without incurring any glitches of any sort. Now that I think about it, it's been a long while since a441's tutorial was created...would these limits be long gone now or is it still suggested that I stay within these bounderies?

Well, Sapphire Canyon goes between -75 to 7000 in some places, and it dosen't have any graphical bugs. And it was done using WADAuthor's nodesbuilder.

It seems to depend on the 'volume' of the sector.... so say you could have a 0 to 8192 sector that's really small.

I think generally staying within the 0-6144 range works for any size. Personally, I map like there's no limits, and then pare back as I hit walls.
