Mystic.WAD

Greetings, SRB2 Community. As you can see, I am new around here, but I am well aware that it's no excuse to go easy on me, so I know you probably won't.

Anyway's, this character was originally a Megaman-type robot master, and I had even made 8-bit sprites of him (Let me know if you wanna see em'), but then I had the idea of turning him into a SRB2 character, and thus, my work began.

I know, these sprites aren't going to win any awards.

Don't expect me to update anytime soon, as i'm incredibly lazy with this sort of thing :P

I thought this was something else for a minute there.

Is this an elephant or something? Or is it wearing a mask? I can't tell. Either way, a bit more original than some I've seen, but still needs plenty of work. And you might want to pick a new name, if you can. It made me think this was gonna be a recolor of Sonic or something.

Yeah, it is a mask. It's supposed to be a robot, but I see my meanger spriting skills haven't conveyed that properly. I do plan on sticking with the name though, but thank's for the input.

Mystic didn't make this and the name has nothing to do with him.

I came here expecting some sort of black hedgehog again.

I was pleasantly surprised. Something that isn't any sort of normal animal comes around once in a blue moon.

Glad you like it! I may actually release a WIP of this wad sometime soon, as I already have a couple of sprites done.

I also find it quite amusing to see people get thrown off by the name :D

A terrible idea, I might add.

Honestly, this thing is really awkward looking. Combined with the fact that it's a fancharacter (which I just consider awful by default) this is a bad mix.

Completely understandable. I realize my spriting skills are a bit "bottom of the barrel" in terms of quality. Thank you for the reply

I didn't knew that character but im gonna keep an eye on this one.

The WIP for this wad is now avaliable. Check the first post to get it. As I said earlier, I used Greeman_V1 as a base for this, so don't be suprised if you see alot of him.

Also, his gameplay is about the same as Sonic's. I apologize for that.
