In match levels, I will have many different hiding spots, but my most usual would be:
Meadow Match Zone: On the sides of the high platform.
Thunder Citadel Zone: In the room with the bookcases, to the right, there is a flame that is out of site when you first enter the room, which is where I would hide.
Sapphire Falls Zone: I don't have a main spot, but spots I stay away from are the Tails-only (I have gotten up there with both Sonic and Knuckles before, without climbing as Knuckles) spots, and in the water, as this is the first place people look.
Techno Hill Zone: Usually in the goop waterfall, inside the building.
The laval zone place: If I get the green shield (which I usually do), In the smaller waterfall. I I don't get the shield, usually any place I can find.
@BlackLightning: Actually, I beat the person being IT on the ice race zone, because I was in a snowman behind the starting line. The best places are in the snowmen.
