AO? I didn't realise that rating even existed. I thought it was a myth. D:

But yeah, I think we've established that Jack Thompson can go die in a fire. I have nothing to add.
 
Before now it had only been used for some low budget computer games that sucked.

(However if the Variable Geo series had made it to North America and the PC games remained the same, then there would be an awesome AO rated game series. :#)

Video games killed his father, raped his mother, and gave his childhood a dirty look. Obviously.
 
Jack Thompson is a classic example of an attention whore. He takes a current hot-button issue, like the fact that those idiots who shot up Columbine liked Doom, and goes on a FUD campaign to attempt to scare the hell out of the population for an agenda, and more importantly, to give him his fifteen minutes of fame.

It's honestly better to ignore him, but it's so much more FUN to mock him.

Who is this guy and what is Manhunt2? (Or Manhunt1 for that matter.)
 
Forget what I said above, I just went on Wiki and read about it. This is sick.... What kind of person would take years out of their life just to make some kind of game that is pure gruesome killing..... This guy needs help.
 
I think what's more of an issue is that Manhunt 2 gets an AO rating, but Saw1-3 isn't officially considered porn.
 
And thats exactly the problem...

Jack Thompson is all over video games for violence, why doesn't he bother someone else, like the movie industry for instance? As far as I know, there are much more violent movies than there are video games.

Just seems kinda unfair to me...

Please tell me that you're not saying that Jack Thompson made the game... because he definitely didn't.
