I'm guessing it's all rendered in the HUD, based on the way the camera zooms in and out without the sky moving at all. It really does look like an interesting mod, and I'm looking forward to playing it when it gets released.

For those of you wondering what this thing is based around, unless I am mistaken, it is 100% Orange Juice. That being said, having played that game on steam I am very curious on how this port will turn out. Looks fun so far, I just wonder how many characters there is, and how supportive of custom characters the mod will be. (Don't expect much, but I can always wonder!)

Sonic Shuffle is a Mario Party ripoff (Just like SATSR 's Party Game mode), I mean what could you do here that you couldn't do in Mario Party?

Though considering there would have to be multiple minigames to make for the characters entirely, It probably won't get very far with lua, or overall level design.
