JTE exe assisstance

Been working. . .
This may of popped up a lot in the past but sadly im having some difficulty with SRB2 JTE.

Point is...Im not too aware of knowing how to directed it to the SRB2.
What I did was create a seprate folder for JTE and see if it would work; no effect.
I added in as a normal wad....but im not sure if anything will be activated...

All im asking is to help me out so this won't be a repeitive headache to you all.

in other words....make a seprate folder from the srb2 win exe?

This question may be obvious, but how do you do that?

Nooooo, put SRB2JTE, and all files that came with it, into the same folder as SRB2win.exe is right now. Not in a separate folder, into the same directory.
 
I must be doing this wrong cause it said it needs a password.

Sorry that im making this difficult.

Wait...does the srb2 src work? It's an extracting program right? SO it will work?
 
No, you're not getting it.
SRB2JTE reads off its own files AND the files that the SRB2Win.exe reads off of (srb2.srb, sonic.plr, etc..).

Unless you are willing to copy all of srb2win's files to the SRB2JTE directory, I suggest keeping SRB2JTE and whatever files it came with in the directory srb2win is in.

Also no, the src is not needed for SRB2JTE unless you're doing SOC editing.

......WOW...I feel stupid now. Guess cause I didn't know what it ment.
