Ok, I will try to make it more bright.Looks a little too dark for my tastes. Are you going to put some light sources around the level?
GRSEDG1 looks very nice in the level, I will use those textures.Unless you really want to keep those huge grass edges, I'd suggest using GRSWALL or GRSEDG1 instead. Aside from that, I quite like how that level looks!
The lilypads are already as thin as possible. I've tried to make them more large so that they look less weird:While you add some light, try making those lilypads thinner (I think that's what they are) they currently look really thick and weird looking on the water and stuff.

Nonsense! My first map was a 2D recreation of splash hill zone. The best place to start is the place where you can get lots of experience. I see nothing wrong with it. Where is the maincfg file located in the wad? Try to move the maincfg file to the very top or the very bottom of the wad list thingy.
I can't say I'm a fan of her having her hammer out during running frames. It looks very weird.

I had it working well in a map I was working on. I probably won't finish that one, so... I can send you the script if you want?In some areas, the lights do turn on, and I did have the thought of foot-powered generators yes, but how it would works it too far out there for me.
