There was a speedrun on GHZ1 to see which one is faster. Personally, if the map isn't short, I would pick Modern Sonic.

Don't really see the usefulness of having the Quickstep considering we can quickly turn to a direction thanks to the physics of the game itself without being restricted to barely being able to move while going fast.

You can also trick after doing a Light Dash as shown in some of the speedruns of V6.

Looking at some of the footages of V6, it'll work the same way just like in Sonic Colors Ultimate where you just need to time your homing attack when the reticle is in the green cursor.
