Before going into spriting, coding, or, movesets, I would recommend learning the Sonic X art style to a almost perfect state, then learn how to interpret that into the SRB2 pixel art style. The current sprite is pretty good, though I would recommend further practice.

So do you have any proof you've started as in like maybe test footage, or some altered sprites to at least match the color palette of SRB2, or is this thread just a violation of rule 16

It seems that on line 13 "DSKHURT2 = DSIVOH2" there's an error. Unfortunately, due to my inexperience with the kart games, I can't entirely pinpoint what it is. Sorry that I can't help further.
