Can't blame them, it's an older game compared to the younger SRB2 community. I honestly haven't even played the game very much myself. I'm really not that good at it.
Unfortunately, that would require cutting the maps' size in half (or in thirds even). And I'm honestly not sure this person wants to keep working on this mod, given the vague (and lowercased) details of recent updates.
Unfortunately, you can't; there's a whole thing with dialogue about how they can't once you get every Chaos Emerald.
edit: Unless you use an "all super" mod, but even then it's kinda odd.
It should be possible to use this mod with a previously-started save file. As it is Lua, it only adds its own code and should not modify the game itself in a way that makes the save file unplayable. Unless the mod marks your game as cheated...?
Thinking about this levelpack's design, it really reminds me of Kaizo mods (like ones mostly made for Mario games). It's possible that this IS a Kaizo mod and that's exactly why I think that. I love the details!
