My point exactly, i tried playing the mod myself, and all it really does is slightly launch you upwards and forwards, it doesn't even alter the player state in any way so you can do it while walking, rolling, spindashing etc. which makes the person using AI to make it even more bafflling

Yeah that's what I'm thinking, obviously the only way to get a perfect port of myhouse would be if Srb2 ran off of the exact same version of the doom engine as GZDoom but that's ofc not the case, but I do still think a decent remake or recreation could work, even if it would be "pointless"...

Honestly Sonic himself is fine, and so are Tails, Knuckles and Metal Sonic, at least in my opinion. Amy could be a bit better and Fang could be a LOT better.

yeah that could be cool, the faster he goes the less accurate he is but he can at least still hit things while at max speed

Tbh if fang got a rework id want him to actually be able to attack with him while moving, his current playstyle doesn't really work within a Sonic game imo
