The reason I didn't apply any offset is because the head stays in the center on the minimap maker. I did attempt this before publishing the Warden, but the little knob showing the direction and the head's position would be misaligned, so I removed the offsets and kept it at 0.

I'm afraid I don't have any experience at the moment in regards to making a 3D Racer. I only work with the 2d Sprites. Also, in regards to the fzn blender video link, here it is. (This is for SRB2Kart btw. Not sure how different it is for Ring Racers)

I'm not quite sure how they managed to pull it off, but each Kirby racer actually has Jack Frost dialogue in the map SRB2 Frozen Night. Go to Jack's little corner and he'll interact with each racer. In the case of Marx, they both seem to know each other.
