It's fine.
Just ignore it and everything will still function as normal.
That happens because the mapping configuration looks for vanilla SRB2 assets, only to, of course, find none, resulting in this error.
PK3 files have the same architecture as ZIP files.
Just selecting “ZIP archive” when you create a file and then saving it as a PK3 works perfectly fine.
I’m trying to find an online game my dad played back in 1996-1997. Might’ve died in somewhere around 2004.
It also might be something like a java or flash game.
It bears many gameplay similarities with a modern board game called “Ransom Notes”
Rounds for the online game go like this:
A random...
Nearest neighbor is usable in SRB2.
It’s likely it’s under some other name like just “Nearest”.
Also: the PS1 did not have blurry textures. That was an N64 thing.
I'd recommend the following changes to make it more accurate:
The PS1 didn't have trilinear texture filtering. Setting the texture filter to "Nearest Neighbor" would be more PS1-y.
Bring the HUD transparency to 100?? I don't know how this adds to the PS1 look.
Capping the FPS at 60 would make it...
Why not make it like Frontiers anyway? He has the double jump, right? It’d be easy enough to implement. Why should it require another ability in order to function?
Same way you do so on any other PC platform.
Make a folder in the root SRB2 directory called "addons" if there isn't one there already.
Put your addons in that folder.
Open the addons menu in-game.
Navigate to the addons folder if you’re not already in it.
Load all your mods, and there you go.
One game I don’t personally like but I still find neat regardless is Your Only Move Is Hustle.
It’s a turn-based fighting game. It’s cooler than it sounds.
