You'd probably be very interested in visiting and bugging us in #srb2dnd then. We could always use more players and more GMs, because so far scheduling the ones we have has not been working out. Paranoia's fun too, if you've ever played that. :)
Crawla is sort of useless without the MS, so it is probably intentionally offline until the MS comes back up. Just be patient, coming back from a hard drive failure is no mean feat.
EDIT: herp derp, Inuyasha told me it's actually lost forever. RIP Crawla
At first, I probably won't even notice for about 3 seconds from coming back from the dead. Then, cue freaking the hell out for about 15 minutes before trying to figure out the particulars: did the timeline just get altered and I was /always/ female?
If so, then presumably all the details...
Only a very small subset of player data (mostly x/y/z position and velocity, as well as score) are synced over the network as testing has shown. Cfail protection helps keep the game together at a basic level, but whenever player data on the host is modified significantly everybody gets...
That's timezone data for Tcl/Tk. It sort of has to be there, so please don't mess with it...
EDIT: Just added project goals to the topic. Hopefully that will give more people a better sense of what I plan to do to SRB2.

It could potentially reach E-10 if you're going by the German version, which replaces all the gibs and blood with, I kid you not, birthday gifts and hamburgers. Talk about overbearing censorship!
I'll sign. I've been trying to push for this for a while because Linux GCC-compiled copies of SRB2 don't netplay well with MSVC-compiled copies. And that really sucks for me, given that I run Linux often.
Thank you very much!
If you have a Debian Linux system, or a derivative of it like Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Xubuntu, you can download these packages and install them to have a Linux version of official 1.09.4 SRB2.
If you have Windows or Mac OS X, these packages will do you no good.
I don't quite know if these will work for all, but here goes.

Please, don't hesitate to yell at me if anything goes horribly wrong and your mother is turned into a giant squid. With that...
