With SRB2 being one of the first communities I was glad to be a part of, I had to watch the reunion interview. I did have a couple questions that I want to ask that weren't necessarily covered in the interview that revolve around the community.
1) Developers come and go on the staff and so do...
I don't remember exactly when I joined SRB2 but I did play it for a bit before joining the forum. I have a lot of memories with 1.09.4 along with the modding community behind it. Now a days I don't really play SRB2 anymore and I don't think I've bothered with the latest versions. I remember when...
I can't believe how long it's been since the earlier releases of SRB2. I remember when I was a lot younger the joys of playing and messing around with SRB2 multiplayer. This game really does bring back a lot of memories.
So far I'm loving the revamped maps. It's nice to replay these maps after...
When you mentioned that OpenGL features could be useful in dark sectors that also has a drawback.
If you're developing a multiplayer map and make it illuminated with OpenGL lights, wouldn't this cause an issue with users who play the same map on Software mode? It would cause an unfair advantage...
I don't think you actually need a controller with the rise of virtual joysticks and buttons. Having one button for spin, one button for jump, and a virtual joystick(s).
Would be a little awkward but it might work.
Many members on this forum may recall a section called "The Coliseum". In this section, members debated touchy subjects. One of these threads I distincitly remember being about the role of boys and girls in marketing. Should girls only be playing with barbie dolls and should boys be all about...
It's also on 3DS, so it's not like the only platform getting it is Wii U.

Honestly, these four pictures don't look bad at all. I always hear that Sonic looks out of place or that the art style doesn't fit a Sonic game. Do none of these screens scream Sonic to people?
I downloaded the game and it's been a blast so far. I love the wacky battles and hilarious dialouge.
Just a note, buying $50 in eShop credit nets you $5 bonus cash.
...You did see the giant "XBOX ONE" logo in the trailer, right?
Anyways, this game is going to take forever to come out either way. Sucks that this isn't coming out for Wii U. The audience is shifted between Nintendo and Sony platforms. It's probably not going to sell on the new Xbox.

Considering the 3DS version showed off an actual Desert stage, it probably is a pun. Remember how New Super Mario Bros U had tons of sweet tooth objects in the Desert level? Same theme there.
Aaron Webber also noted in the video that each level will contain their own themes. Example - Green...
