My recommendation is Fighters Megamix, which is easily my favorite SEGA fighting game. It's a mix between Virtua Fighter and Fighting Vipers, but I'd say regardless of if you know those series well, it's worth playing

He said the reverse of that. You can set a linedef/sector's effect number to one that doesn't exist and have LUA check for it and then execute code for it.

It's a cool idea, but it won't mesh with SRB2's game design. Hyper Mode is good in STF because it takes away a barrier; a resource you have very few of that helps you defend yourself, but by default is a thing you can only regain at the beginning of a fight. Rings in SRB2 are plentiful and easy...

It doesn't freeze. Just press F11 twice after selecting software. Most visual bugs like these just happen. They can't be fixed by changing settings within the game.
