Ova Sonic Remake.

Ova Sonic sprite concept.png

So I decided that Ova Sonic is long overdue for a remake.
The sprites do not look pleasant to look at, and there could be a more involved move set, with the current one being just... Broken?
Anyways, this is a mockup of the sprites that may make it into the final build. The first one is the A1, the second is waiting sprites ( obviously not final) and the last one is a move that allows Sonic to jump in the air in a desired direction. Speaking of moves, let's go over them.

Wall run: Sonic will run on a wall horizontally when at max speed

Move name is unknown, but this allows Sonic to thok into enemies multiple times while performing tricks like in the image above

Peelout: This move allows Sonic to charge up and store speed with a quick release.

Unlike holding down the charge button for however long you want, this version doesn't.

Charged jump: This allows Sonic to charge up a jump and catapult in whatever direction the player is holding.

It's been like 2 weeks bro
It's the internet dude that's like fourteen eons. Also, from my understanding BlueM is on the younger side so there's a good chance he gets caught up in life and responsibilities. I've watched plenty of projects on this board wake and die in days. I think it's fair to wonder after a couple weeks if something is still being worked on.

It's still being worked on.
Making a shift from hand drawn to pixel art though because hand drawn looks a bit...odd in this game's case...
But I still would need to find someone to code the damn thing.
