Could You Add Tails Sprites To Alt Knuckles? That's All I Need. Then I Can Make Some Lua. Here's My Try That Failed:

When i say tails sprites i mean the tails overlay. not tails's actual sprites. Tails's Tail Sprite Overlay Is The Thing.

I go forum spelunking often, and i find this. I immediately know what to do so i'll help ya.

It's kinda easy, just don't release it anywhere.

Add this into the S_SKIN of that character (Found in the AltKnux folder):
(note: the placement doesn't matter, as long as it's after the skin tags.)

then, open your characters.pk3 (in your SRB2 2.2.15 folder), go to the "2_Tails" folder, then into the "2_Sprites" folder, and copy all sprites that start with "TAL" (so "TAL0A1D1" to "TALBB5") to help with doing that, click first on TAL0A1D1 then scroll down and click on TALBB5, all while holding Shift, then copy, and paste into the AltKnux folder.

Now Alt Knuckles has red tails that are in a good placement, surprisingly. This is how it looks in game (if it won't appear below, see the attachment.)


I will not release the modification, since the addon's reusability is ASK ME, but i can tell you how to modify it (which i just did) [edit: corrected what i said to reflect what I meant to say]
(side note: Sls, if you're seeing this, i just wanted to help this person with a personal customization (and it could help them with modding srb2 themselves), at no point will i release this)
