Which of the following is your favorite ability for Sonic? More specifically, which one do you want to see in SRB2? Any ability goes, even if not tied to JUMP in the air. NGL I just wanted to include more abilities ok?

1. Insta-Shield

2. Dropdash

3. Thok

4. Breakfast Sandwich (for those who know)

5. Making a Sandwich (also for those who know)

6. Homing Attack

7. Bounce

8. Double Jump

9. SONIC DID THE NARUTO RUN FIRST (Peelout!)

10. None!

11. Whatever else! Light Speed Dash, Drift, whatever!

What I was actually referring to was this video:


The new experimental Sonic ability was dubbed the "Breakfast Sandwich" by SandwichFace because there was no other way to describe it.
 
Hmmmm... I would like adding the dropdash and peelout to sonic, so that it keeps his moveset as simple as the thok. Or none, because aside of these 2 abilites, I wouldn't like the others as much.
 
I've felt for some time now that the bounce if handled correctly could feel pretty fantastic to use for traversal purposes. I've played around with some mods in the past that make use of it and it was quite fun, so I'm optimistic about what that could look like with level design built with it in mind.
 
I'm one of the three people who don't think the Insta-Shield is weird and that it should be in more classic Sonic games. It's just cool, man.

It was just out of place as a Sonic ability. It'd love to see it reskinned onto Amy as her hammer to replace her current janky moveset.

I misread, thought it was just one short from a larger series. Anyways, I watched one about a card game with a buncha random monsters, and baseball cards.

"Breakfast Sandwich" was dubbed by Sandwichface (see the video above) to refer to the odd new ability that's in the works for Sonic, basically a convoluted midair Spindash-type move, indescribable with a single name.

Making a sandwich is the Boost, because it related to another video above that I thought was funny.
 
ima make my faves into..... A LIST!

  • the individual emerald powers (just like in sonic superstars)
  • that weird "stun kick" move from the 3ds version of sonic lost world (mainly just the concept of it is what i like about it personally)
  • Drop dash (only its the drop dash that coincidentally appeared in that sonic 3 prototype (you know! the one with the pre M.J. ost!))
