Offbrand's Oddballs V4 Part1: Grovyle v2 and Spongewow v1.5

so while working on chespin V2

i ended up finding out that grovyle had stikbot's gloat

idk how this happened or how long it's been like that so

I'm so very sorry about that and I'm working as fast as I can to get an update that'll fix that and other problems out

I'll throw in what i have finished for wave 4 as well-

the update i once said would be coming as soon as possible is now here

this update fixes the problem with grovyle's gloat and the audio for SpongeWow's hurt 2 audio file

this update also adds the first half of wave 4

GBC SpongeBob, Chespin V2, and Play by play Pikachu

I've also added 7 new followers in the Fanworks category styled after PMD

as the next update approaches i need to break my silence on what'll be in this update

as you've seen on the page

SMW mario will be the new character of the update

there will also be some more followers

i just don't know what yet

followers tend to come last minute

anyway

the big thing for this update is

Stat changes

yes. the stats for nearly every character in the pack are getting changed

a few will stay the same but it's like 10% of the cast

this will affect both the main...

so.. some kinda sad news

thanks to the pixel art program I used to make characters and followers going down (Lospec)


the next update may take till late November to release as I get acquainted to new software

I will try my best to make the update worth the long wait

so far I have SMW mario pretty much ready along with a proper SpongeBob V2

i have plans for Blinky (Pac-Man)

basic cat and tank cat (battle cats)

two pokemon

bendy (bendy and the ink machine)

those all should be in...

so... I've been hard at work on V3.5 because yes

I consider this update big enough for that title

so far I had great progress on Blinky.. until his file corrupted


so Blinky is off the table for the time being

but I've made progress on red V2 and i think... you all might like how he's gonna look View attachment 146973

even I'm surprising myself with how he's coming along

so.. next Post will probably be a release date or just the update itself

what do I mean by this?

well

Red m&m and SpongeBob got V2s

I also gave grovyle Talk Sprites for map makers

besides that there's also a new character

World mario

his voice lines are actually Charles's first instance of him voicing Mario


KNOWN PROBLEMS

SpongeBob's prefix overlaps with the other ring racers SpongeBob on the message board

world mario's voice lines distort when the same line overlaps

when I was first making this pack back when there was only SpongeBob, homer, SpongeWow, and grovyle

I never thought this pack would pass 1000 downloads this quickly

i do plan on making a new character for this occasion I just don't know who yet..

anyway

Yellow V2

An updated SpongeBob V2 with new sprites and voice lines

Updated voice lines for dusknoir

a new follower

So here it is

an update that I feel is very necessary now than later

this update fixes every problem SpongeBob could have along with giving him a new signpost, death Sprite, icon, and mini map iconView attachment 150061
I'm pretty proud of how he's looking so far now but there might be a day when SpongeBob v3 might be a thing

this update also brings along the much needed yellow V2View attachment 150063

every character that came in v1 will be getting a V2

that being SpongeWow, homer, and grovyle

Yes, it is possible to replace base characters with modded characters. Although the challenge menu gets confused and gets the character names wrong.
