When is 2.2.14 coming out?

I have been eager to test out TSoURDt3rd build, but the latest version is made for 2.2.12 (i use .13) and the developer has said the next one is only coming out along with .14. I am also very excited for the new spritework!

I’ve heard from a lot of people here in the MB it’s coming out later this month (Oct 2024), but I just wanted to be sure.

When it's done, like always. Also I'm PRETTY SURE that .14 won't have the new sprite work, because from what I heard. But it's a shot in the dark if we get it or not, ether we get it on .14 or on 2.3.

probably not gonna be out for a while, but you can nab urself a nightly build of 2.2.14 right here, nightly builds are basically a wip version of the next update. it has a good chunk of the new features being added

as far as ive played the only features that we are going to receive is optimization and a shield button (im obviously not counting the copious amount of stuff behind the scenes, just counting the ones that matter for people who just play srb2)

2.2.14 is coming out soon, but the new sprites are going to be added in 2.3 instead
 
When a new release comes out depends heavily on how many bugs and issues (especially regressions) are considered a must-fix at least initially. Ideally, the number of total bugs and issues would only go down, but things can break as more features, optimizations, and other stuff is added.

In most cases, the final release comes out at least a couple of weeks after the prerelease 2 build, but it is not a guarantee.
