i just soloed this with 2 seconds to spare (after a first failed attempt and a character change)
 
Oh I really like this idea and the first stage is a pretty good showcase of what you can do with a far more complex map designed for multiplayer. Also I didn't know that the Elemental Shield blocked the time drain from water in special stages/the Attraction Shield worked on blue spheres.
