As a passing comment, unrelated to what's actually being talked about...
...I honestly dislike seeing these comments that ask the most miscellaneous, small things that don't warrant talking about-- things that are so small, you'd think people would wait until the mod was out or would watch the trailer just to check because it's that simple.

And on top of that, using their safety net of "Getting back on topic", and asking a question that, unfortunately, leads into people actually replying like a discord server.

At first, it was really easy to spot when someone was being off-topic, looking at their message and being "Okay, yeah, they're clearly not being kosher" and leading to a friendly advice to make them stop.
But it's almost like this thread alone spawned a new meta where people talk about whatever, certain users replying often when they have no reason to, talk or ask about the SMALLEST thing..
... But then are like "Yeah but back on topic, I'm totally not doing anything wrong, let me derail and 'keep this thread alive' with a question that was either already asked multiple times before or asking about yet another small thing".

I'm not even going to excuse myself with a "To get back on topic" section on this message, because at this point I'd feel dirty doing that and adding to the problem when:
A) Reasonable questions have already been answered but are left buried because people won't stop talking and increasing this thread's pages.
B) Anything I can think of at this point is too small and I'd rather wait for the mod to come out and not bother BlueBlur or any one else with something that, frankly, I feel doesn't even need to be asked about, especially seeing as some things are kept secret on purpose, or are so small they just don't warrant it.
C) It keeps feeding into itself because, as replies to questions get buried with frequent posts, people decide "I'm not going to read" because they're intimidated by the increasing number of pages and potential posts to read through, leading back to point A where people just keep asking more.

Let's be honest with ourselves here. When was the last time anyone had anything that was actually worth discussing about? Because I'd wager that was probably when BlueBlur last made a comment answering questions that were being asked.
Bottom line is, asking questions is fine... But there's one point where you gotta look at the bigger picture, and wonder if you truly needed to ask that to begin with.
I'm not going to name users, but I keep seeing some of them that keep talking over and over and over, while acting like they're doing nothing wrong. Like... Come on, now! You answered and asked what needed answering and questioning already, why do you feel the need to answer whenever someone does it too?

TL;DR: I'm tired of seeing people needlessly flood the pages of this thread with unnecessary, tiny questions, people talking way too often in the span of a few hours in regards to those same small questions...
I'm sorry if I'm personally stepping out of line, whether it comes to this thread or the integrity of other users. I really am, but at the same time I can't help but feel pissed off that people "try" to stay on line while not really doing it. Some don't even realize they're doing it, unfortunately, because they don't bother thinking about it.

Wow I guess I never thought of it that way :dramahog: alright let's get back on topic that's the yeast we can do

Agreed. I only tell people to DM me about certain things because we can just talk about it there instead of talking about it here and stop acting like this page is a Discord server.

Seriously. This is not Discord. This is not Zoom. This is the SRB2 MB, and we are suppose to be having a dissccusion about X-Sonic related things because this is the X-Sonic disscussion page. We all need to stop using this page like it's Discord/a mini chat room like one of the SRB2 MB Memembers said.

Cosigning the post above.

Some of you are using being on topic as a pretense to bloat the thread with minimal trivia that adds nothing to your expectations even if BlueBlur graced it with a response like "can X-Sonic whistle while handstanding?"

Again, being off-topic is not the only thing I warned against. Only send messages if they add something to the discussion.

Stop posting only to tell other people to get on topic. If someone is causing trouble for being off-topic, we'll see and warn accordingly.

Put all of your trivia questions in one single post. If your question is only an excuse to sound on topic, you don't need to post it to begin with.

Stop asking BlueBlur for updates or complaining there aren't any. This thread is so he can post updates when he feels like it. Stop trying to keep the thread active just because.

That said, stop metaposting about being off-topic right now and start asking yourself if other people really need to know what you're going to post next. If you're in doubt, probably not. Let's keep the thread on topic AND clean.

Btw, if anyone is breaking the rules, just report them, no need to flood the pages with unnesscary arguing, and no need to flood them with unnesscary information.

Yeah, I had some questions but I'd rather save it for the mod now, rather than just wishing that BlueBlur "graces" upon us every single ability and how they work even though it's not even close to releasing yet.

Not to mention that this mod probably won't release until the beginning of next year. So let's stop asking questions about the mod ablities, as the final product will give us answers to how they work.

Actually, I'm wondering if this mod changes the music/sounds of certain things (Besides the jump sounds) like Adventure Sonic does. That'd be a great suprise.

Well, seeing as Sonic X had jason griffith voicing him, it would probally be easier to rip VA sounds from unleashed if he cant get the right sounds from just browsing sonic x on netflix lol, but hopefully.

Actually, he can just rip some sounds from Sonic X Clips on Youtube. Then use them for the mod.
