the main reason a probe is getting sent to the moon in question (europa) is because nasa thinks salty water is under its icy surface meaning that life could be striving on the moon so they are sending a probe to confirm their theory, i have no idea why they want every one to sign it like school yearbook though.

The whole thing about the water though, I think I've heard about that, and I admit it kinda piques my interest a bit more. :P

probably is a hype thing, not the first time they did something like this. one time they told everyone to get in a selfy pose for a picture where earth looked like this

I looked into this because I also have a space fancy; it's not so much a literal "bottle" as it is them lasering millions of peoples' names on a microchip the size of a coin, which means your name would only be readable if you had an extremely good microscope lying around. I remember something like this was done for a Mars mission before IIRC?

As far as the mission, Europa Clipper; well, Europa has been looked at before by previous spacecrafts like the ones in the Pioneer and Voyager programs as well as other fly-bys done by Cassini and New Horizons, and Jupiter-orbiting probes like with Galileo and Juno, but this is the first time to my understanding that a probe is meant specifically for one moon, and is quite well-meaning considering Europa's known possibility of harboring life. It would obviously be big news to learn if that's true even if it most likely would just be reminiscent of Earthen single-cell prokaryotic organisms like bacteria and archaea. Launches later this year, arrives at Europa in 2030... big waiting game like with a lot of other billion-dollar space missions, but am sure it will eventually prove to be worth it!
