The problem with FNF is pretty much similar to all the other fandoms that have hit the peak of popularity. With people flooding to the fandom alongside plenty of kids, they usually end up importing their problems & grievances into the community as a result, the key problems of 2010s & 2020s being the online witch hunting, creeps, the obsession with appearances & "political correctness" AKA modern moral busybodyism, the latter of which we will not discuss here for reasons that should be obvious to everyone involved in the discussion.
To summarize, there has been a clear trend of the surface level of fandoms at their popularity peak manifesting the characteristics of the established culture of RL. Turns out modern people are often petty & horrible towards each other, something they end up importing to wherever they go. This isn't just a problem with FNF fandom, it's a problem with modern people in general.

Kinda hard to talk about more when a lot of good ones don't get as much popularity. Take "SMB Funk Mix DX" or "Funkin' At Freddy's +Afton Full Week". Both are really good, but really, REALLY understated. Probably also because they're not ball-breakingly hard, but... hey, if Garcello can be a good mod without being DDR-levels of hard, why can't anything else?
I think the idea that FNF is bad because it's easy is dumb, because as far as I can tell, it was never meant to be. It's a loveletter to Newgrounds disguised as a fun rhythm game, not a DDR/osu! killer. Sure, it's okay to make hard mods for those who want the challenge, but for the most part, FNF as a whole shouldn't be. That just isn't what it's going for.

Well, FNF is a game for middle schoolers who just want to game. and i can feel the same for roblox

no, i'm just saying it's straight dumb considering that not even the creator of these games want to do fandom wars, like why not just enjoy both games, one or them (or neither and just ignore) instead of throwing hate on them?

The only thing that makes the game near "Good" are the once-in-a-lifetime mods that have proper effort. The game alone sucks.

The game itself isnt that bad,you know?
Its just that the community havent seen a update for the game for a year and half,and the devs are having a long development. Take high quality SRB2 mods for example. They took a very long time in development,and we all dont like rushed things.

You litreally dont know that they are working on more than just 3 songs:Errect remixes for all 22 songs,better visuals,possible playable characters,and high-quality Week 8- all to be seen in a update for a game made by only 4 people.
