(SRB2Kart) How come my game is lagging?

You may not know this, but I've been playing SRB2Kart for over 3 years now, and it's solidified itself to be an amazing kart racer game that differs from other games due to its limitless amount of characters, but I've never faced any lagging issues, that is until after I've installed the v1.6 update for the game. For some reason, my game now lags significantly whenever I race in a server. I've only noticed this so far in CGB Styles and NVJR Elimination, 2 servers that I would go to quite frequently. Because those 2 servers get a lot of people now, I can't really play SRB2Kart properly anymore like I used to. How can I fix this?

make sure to get a more faster wifi.
if you do have a fast wifi but its still slow, you will have to use a more faster pc.

Like I said, before I updated the game, the game ran perfectly fine on my PC, no matter which server I joined.

It's entirely possible that something has changed about those two servers, perhaps the influx of players being the difference. If that is the case, there is very little you could do.

However, I have an important question: Have you tried other servers to see if this happens across all of them?

Yes, I have tried other servers like NVJR Deluxe, and thankfully my game doesn't lag when in that server. It stinks that this laggy problem is happening to me in CGB Styles because that's a server I like and that's been the most popular server as of recently.

In that case there is probably nothing you can do except play on other servers. This lag could be the result of increased players (which is known to happen after a new update), or new addons loaded, or something else. You could ask the hosts if they have changed anything, or check with other users if they are experiencing the same kind of lag.

Bingo, I think you just figured out my issue. It seems that I'm going to have to wait for some time until I can play in those servers again.
