    Sonic Robo Blast 2 Pet Peeves

    If we're talking petty nitpicks, I prefer the snappy movement of the old versions' titlecards. 2.2's are definitely better, but I wished they slid into place less smoothly. Makes them feel, I dunno, sluggish?

    I don't remember what version of SRB2 I was playing when I first completed it, but beating 2.2 for the first time was kinda bittersweet - all the new updated stuff was a blast to see, but ending it on the same old Egg Rock more or less felt like a sour note to end things on.

    I actually quite enjoyed it the first time around, though I'll admit to cheesing Amy's CBT Chamber (I played the level with Sonic & Tails.) The cheese route I took was at least fun to come up with/pull off.

    You could always just replace 1-up monitors with the scrapped Silver Ring monitors or something else instead. As for making rings more compelling in a scenario with infinite lives, maybe bringing back the score emblems could work, as the player would want to hoard them to nab one?

    A simple world map screen for Singleplayer, more like the one from Sonic Adventure 2 than the later games. I always found light worldbuilding like that a nice gesture.

    Some oddball minigames, like the party games of the Super Monkey Ball series (Whack-A-Crawla? Sonic Golf?) I always thought they were some fun timewasters with friends, though I suppose custom gametypes fill that niche for SRB2.
